Count on your stops. When getting close a red light, let your foot off the gas as early as possible.
In summer, drive during cooler regions of the day. Cooler, denser fresh air can boost power in addition to mileage.
Avoid long warm-ups the next day. They’re unnecessary and throw away fuel.
Use air treatment. Today’s air conditioners create less drag within the engine than driving while using the windows open.
Maintain proposed tire pressure. Low pressure reduces fuel economy which enables it to damage tires.
Keep the oxygen filter clean. Clogged filtration system reduce fuel economy in addition to increase exhaust emissions.
