OSD - Conction of extenal IR to Video Interface

Hello,

to controll via Touch Screen an external DVD (or DVB-T) equipment you say that is necessary to phisical connect the IR wire of to the IR-AV2 (DVD) ( or IR-AV3 (DTV)) wire of the Video interface.

Any risk do damage the IR sensor on the DVD (or on the DVB-T) ?
How to choose the right wire in the IR cable ?

Hello!

IR-AV2, IR-AV3 are one DATA wire. There are 3 wires in the IR sensor (+,-, Data) on the devices like DVD, DVB-T. You should connect them with each other. We recommend using a multimeterto find out the right wire.
