Choose “Settings” in CS9100 main menu (marked red in the picture)
Select “Menu Editor” in the window that appeared (marked red in the picture).
Then you will see warning tab (if you didn’t make “Menu” folder backup, it’s the right moment to do it). After making backup click “OK”.
Menu editor pop-up window will appear above CS9100 menu. To create new elements of the menu select the necessary element in the drop box and click “Create” button.
Functions of the elements of the menu editor main screen:
Button – create new button.
Screen – create new screen.
Battery Meter – is not used.
«Window» - switching between existing screens.
«Create» button opens pop-up window to choose icon or screen background .
«Delete» button deletes selected menu component .
«Save menu» button saves changes made by the user.
So, we need to create new button in the «Navigation» window. To do this you need to select «Button» and select the screen where you need to create the button using left/right buttons (marked red in the picture).
Then click «Create». Window for selecting icons for our software will appear.
The icon can have the following formats *.jpg, *.png, *.bmp, *.gif. When you select the icon it will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. To move the icon, click once on it (the frame will appear around it).
Then drag it to the place you need on the screen. After double click / tap on the icon “Button Properties” window of menu editor will appear.
Here you can adjust location of the icons on the screen, select their function and path to the program.
“On Select” dropdown list contains the following:
Do nothing – Do nothing.
Start Program – Launch the program.
Link to Screen – Move to the screen.
Power Off – Switch off the device.
Soft Reset – Reset the device.
Hard Reset – Reset the device and clear the memory.
Minimize – Minimize the window.
Quit – Exit the device menu.
Edit menu – Menu editor.
Select «Start Program» , the window will appear. Select the necessary file with *.ехе extension .
Close the window, click «Save menu” and close the window.
