- I am looking to buy the Dension Five for my 2006 WV passat with RCD500. to connect to my iPhone 4. 1. Can I use the iphone as an iPod and navigate the library? Do I need a dock to get sound through all the car speakers?
- I want this dension five product to be able to communicate with my iphone 4 via bluetooth and be able to access the phone functions on the MFD in front of me. I'm pretty sure it does that. What I really want to know is if the system can also let me use my iPhone as an ipod to play music controlled either by the RCD500 buttons, or via the steering wheel controls. Will it allow the same iphone to make calls and deliver music at the same time? Does the iphone need to be hard wired to the dension to get the music out of all the car speakers in stereo as i'm told the bluetooth connection only sends music to the front speakers.
