I did receive some information from the manufacturer of WP9900 (I think the same manufacturer : WondeProud) but they told me that the model is under investigation is the CS9200. Is that correct?
According to them, the CS9200 has a Samsung Processor that is not capable to output sound and the sound (from the Navigation Box) is only played by an external speaker. For me that is not a Plug&play Solution.
Does it worth to develop a system based on obsolete OS and Hardware?

In the same way is only a Navigation BOx based on WinCE (very limited OS), while the CS9900 is based on Android and they are advertising a future mirroring feature with this model (which is very interesting).

Is the CS9900 under development to fit to Mazdas'?
Can be the current CS9900 be adapted by a user to the Mazda CX5 input/output?

As soon as we get test sample we can tell whether the CS9900 is compatible with this solution or not.

my cs9900 frequently crashes and I have to reboot. I have tried installing several firmware of this product but does the same.

also do not know how to use the extsd to accommodate the programs that are installed into the device's memory or on the internal sd, is there any way to move the extsd programs?

After what actions does it crash? Try to reset to the factory settings.

You cannot do it using the OEM tools. You can use only additional programs, such as App2sd

most of the time it hangs when I'm using the 3G data connection. Also when you lose 3G signal takes a long time to regain it and sometimes does not catch light and that data signal in my iphone data coverage is maximal.

It works very well the data connection.

I've tried to reset to factory settings but still having the same problems.

The OS update solve any problems or are just slight modifications?

Hello!
First upgrade the firmware.
Then make the following settings: Access Point Names(name, APN, username(if any), password(if any), MCC, MNC ).

I've been getting these "freezes" as well. Going to try the 7-11-2013 update now.

On Jul 11 2013 version I still get random freezes. :(

Any idea if it will be upgraded to HC/ICS or JB? I noticed you now sell Andromeda? ICS 4.0.4 and cheaper but less resolutions. I really would like to have a newer OS. So far Navigon is still working with 2.3.3 so I am not that worried... Most Apps are still GB compatible, but this will soon change and then I will be stuck with only Navigation software and not be able to update it...

Unfortunately, CS9900 upgrade to new Android versions is not expected.
Andromeda compatibility list will soon be expanded. Follow the news.

Hi all. Just joined to this forum. Hope finally find the best combination of hw pieces to enhanced my idrive based bmw infotainment system.
I find both cs 9900 and andromeda boxes quite interesting. Those are the type of boxes I am looking for to improve my system. Just a couple of questions:
1. Do they support mirroring?
2. Which one do you think is more flexible in terms of features, stability and android applications support?
Thanks in advance and congratulations to everyone in this forum. Hope to learn a lot and share it with you.

Hello!

1. No
2. CS9900 will not be upgraded to the new Android version. As far as Andromeda is concerned, in your case you will need the touch controller, which the system could identify as HID device. Like this one.

P.S. Welcome on our Forum.

Thank you for the info.
1.- About mirroring: Is it a SW o a HW problem?. Provided that both are running android, is not possible to run a mirrorlink receiver application?
2.- Regarding touch control. In case I do not want touch control (in my case the screen is far from hand and would not be very safe while driving) can i use a bluetooth touchpad or similar?.
Thanks again.

Hello.
1. It's not a problem. The device of this version simply does not have such function.
2. Why don't you use the remote control touchpad from the package?
We don't have any information regarding Bluetooth, never tested it.
