Hi, I received a CS9900 with a firrmware of 2013-01-11 and the lan drivers were wl12xx.* but received a VNT9271BU0DB usb dongle. (I believe it's the same you ship with the CS9200?) When I did an "lsmod" I would see these wl12xx drivers but not the vt9271.
Anyhow, I installed the latest firmware 03/27/2013 and after Installing it, I would enable the Wireless and only THEN I could see it was loading the vt9271 driver. But still after 10 to 20 seconds my Wifi shuts off.
Is this affecting all the CS9900 or is mine defective?
Please advise.
Thanks!

3rd to last and last firmware names are wrong.
3rd to last should be: OS Update as of 27.03.13
And last one should be: OS Update as of 10.04.13
Downloading 10.04.13 and testing that one to see if I get my Wifi issue resolved. Will report back. I already got Bluetooth working!

10.04.13 still not working. Wifi turns on, on an "adb shell" I do an "lsmod" and I can see the vt9271 but after 20 secs it turns back off. I tried under advanced to NEVER turn off wifi with no luck, please help!

Try to reset to the factory settings. If it doesn't help, reset to the factory settings and then install the firmware immediately.

Worked like a champ! Now I have wifi and bluetooth working! Thanks a lot!
Any way we can get more than 2gb partition, let's say 3gb or 4gb for the navigation maps? I think I need some user space too, but my CS9900 has a lid where an SDCARD is supopsed to go? Am I allowed to replace that SDCARD if any? Please let me know, I will update the firmware again so I can have all the 4gb available in the "/sdcard"

You are welcome!

Only 2 GB from 4 GB of internal memory are available. There is also SD cards slot if you need more memory.

Of course!

Thanks! Got Navigon up and running!
But at a stand still. I keep getting that GREY screen with RED letters with my speed in KM/hr not even Miles per hour, how can I change this??? The latest Firmware I installed 10-04-13 does not have the feature to turn this off, so I am not sure how to turn it off..
I am just still waiting on your sales department to send me the right touchscreen cable for RCD510 DELPHI video interface to CS9900 so I can use the touchscreen off of my stock radio... So far NO ANSWER! I am getting better results here. Can you PLEASE let sales/support know I am still waiting on the reply or the cable?
Thanks!!! (its kinda pain in the @$$ to use the remote....)

Car mode is hidden in the menu until you unlock it by entering the password. You need to do the following: settings->customization settings->menu->unlock->7777
Also refer to the page 25 of the manual.
After all investigations we came to the conclusion that you received the right package. The newest revision of the interfaces for RCD510 Delphi has the same sub-board as the video interface for RNS510. That is why we first thought that you received the wrong package content. But then we saw the photos of the equipment you received and we became sure that the package content was ok.
So we will be able to make conclusions about the reason of your monitor malfunction only when we receive it.

I have a Mazda CX-5 SUV
It comes with a Touchscreen unit (5.8in) manufactured by Sanyo Automedia. Touchscreen Display manufactured by SONY. (Model GCX146AKM-E)
You can add an external Navigation Box by Tomtom by connecting only 3 set of cables:
set 1: 4pin cable set --> identified as +b/acc
set 2: 6 pin cable set --> identified as USB Connection. It seems that by this connection coudl be possible to connect the Touchscreen controls (4pin of the 6 available) and the other 2 to send Audio+Video to the HeadUnit (+DATA/-DATA??)
set 3: 2 pin cable set --> identified as GPS Antenna
Could be this CS9900 Unit connected to the CX-5?
Many thanks in advance
