SWAP ON/SWAP OFF

Postby MyRav4Car » 01 Jun 2015, 16:18

Is it possible to implement the SWAP ON/SWAP OFF function to allow runtime data to be swapped out of RAM to a class 10 SDCARD?

Thanks,

Hi.

We don't quite understand what you want to do.
Could you, please, explain in other words.

The CS9320 only has 512mb ram, most of which is used by the OS.

Creating a SWAP file would help to increase the available RAM, but the kernel does not have SWAPON & SWAPOFF installed.

Can you modify the kernel to support a swapfile?

Thanks,
