Postby cazumo » 21 Mar 2012, 21:18

Hello.
I have recently bought a CS9100 in GSMServer.
I am happy with it because it has many features that I did not know.
But I have some problems:
1.-The remote control does not work. I connected the CS9100 to TV to configure for Alpine monitor and I had to use a USB mouse because the remote control didn't work. The remote control LEDS light, but it doesn`t work.
2.- I don't know how to load the navigation software.
3.- I don't know where to load the navigation software.
4.- I don't know what navigation software must to load.
5.- I don't Know if I need to configure the system in some way to run the GPS.
Please, help me with my problem.
Thanks

Excuse me. I forgot to say that I have tried the CS9100 connected to TV.
I have not tried it yet in the Alpine. Perhaps it is the problem?
Thanks.

Hello!
Here are the answers for your questions:
1. If CS9100 doesn’t respond to the remote control, you need to synchronize them. Press Return and Home buttons simultaneously and hold for 1s. Simultaneous LEDs flashing will indicate successful synchronization.
2. Navigation software installation:

Default way for navigation software installation on memory card is Navi\Navi.exe
Navigation software settings:
GPS receiver COM port: COM1
GPS receiver rate: 9600
Video output resolution: 480×234

Ok. Thanks for your reply.
The remote control is already fixed, as you mentioned me.
The problem is that there is not a Navi.exe file.
Please, I need a solution.
Regards.

There, I've got.
But I think the CS9100 should bring an instruction manual.
Thanks.

Hello.
Hope, this will help:

CS9100 navigation boxes are sold WITHOUT navigation software.

Path to navigation software is set by default as \\Navi\Navi.exe in the menu.
Therefore, you need to create Navi folder in the memory card root and put navigation software into this folder. Then rename navigation software .exe file into Navi.exe.

You also need to set up navigation software: e.g. indicate 480х234 resolution in SYS.TXT file for iGO. Then set up GPS receiver :
GPS receiver COM port: COM1
GPS receiver rate: 9600
