Touareg RCD 550 video interface

Hi, I wanted to connect a reverse camera and GPS to my Touareg RCD550. Can I know the hardware required for the same including the cables and GPS model.
Currently I have selected following.
1. Reverse camera product Code: 821110
2.Video interface Product Code: 831035
Please advise whether the above is right selection or not and also provide information on GPS , cables and other items required if any for the above.

Hello!
You made a right choice of the video interface and camera (if the dimensions fit for your car).

Besides that you will also need:
1. CS9100 or CS9200 navigation box (that's up to you to choose). Resolution will still be 480х234
2.USB touch screen controller

My VolksWagen, Toureg RCD550 is with touch screen. Do I still need an additional USB touch screen controller?
Can I get navigation box preloaded with UAE map? If Not, where I can buy the maps. Appreciate if you could assist with some weblinks.

Hello!

Yes, you still need touch screen controller because it is impossible to connect RCD550 touch screen directly to the box.

As far as maps are concerned if you order navigation box from Eastern Europe stock we can preinstall it for you (please, mention it when placing an order).

I thought RCD550 will be connecting to Video interface (Product Code: 831035) Then 9100 and reverse camera connecting to Video interphase. Is that correct? If yes, still do I need a touch screen controller?

Hello.

You will need touch controller if you are going to control navigation box on the touch screen. If you are going to use remote control, you don't need touch screen controller.

thanks. If I wanted to connect only reverse camera, which video interface I need to use for RCD550?831035 or 838138? Do I need any other hardware other than video interface? How many cameras can be connected to this video interface models?

You can use both video interfaces.
They have three composite inputs + input for rear view camera with trigger wire.

They differ by the country of the manufacturer. The firs one is Korean, the second - Chinese.

Is there a way to connect the Garmin GVN53 touchscreen interface (TSC-205 or TSC-206) to the RCD550?
Maybe through touchscreen output of the Video Interface?
