Audi A3 - Installation Wires

Hi There,

I have the Audi A3 2013/2014 8V or MQB Platform with the STD 3G MMI

And After removing the Command Unit, removed the quadlock connector of it and would like to confirm if anyone here have all the wires colors/scheme diagram to make the correct connections right there, without the need to splice any wire of the oem system.

The wires needed are the CAN wires, NAV button wire, ...

I've purchased the extension cable available at ebay Germany and Will use it to make the right connections.

We don't know about the HU socket pinout. The climate control socket pinout is orange+violet = GEAR CAN-H, orange+brown=GEAR CAN-L, orange+black=mmi CAN-h, orange+brown = mmi can-l

Safe (purple)
Mmi (white)
F can det (light blue)

What are the correspondence for those?

There's no need to connect these wires:
Safe (purple) - when connected to GND.
Mmi (white) - NC
F can det (light blue) - NC

Ok, I've made all the connections, turned the ignition to acc... the display goes up and nothing happens... I tried pressing the remote button, but nothing. All I get Is a green and a Red light on the LVDS unit, but no access to it... What I am doing wrong?

Could you provide photos of how everything is connected and in what positions DIP swithes are?

when I press the mode button of the LVDS it goes over the screen but I can't activate lvds by using the steering or nav button.

Should I change something?

I change the wire positions of my cable as suggested by Chortenia on the other topic

Now, looking from upside, from left to right it goes like these:

Brown
Black
White
Grey
purple
blue
brown
purple
black
red (+12v)

I can go to AV1/av2... by clicking on the nav button on the console.

And Now I have signal when gear is on Rear for the rear can

The problems I'm facing now is

1. the PAS lines don't do dynamics when I steer the wheel.
2. The nav button of the steering wheel still doesn't work.

What could be wrong right now?

Hi.
Please, provide the photos how power cable is connected and how CAN-H CAN-L wires are connected. the colours of the wires shoul be visible.

Everything now seems to work fine except.. the power consumption. I used de ACC and Yellow wires of the MMI 3G to Connect my Unit, but I left my car parked for 3 days and it drained almost my battery. Could have something wrong with my unit? It heats up a lot too.

What could be happening?

As we can judge the video interface is powered not by АСС, but by BAT. Did the LED on the video interface shine when the ignition was off?
