Problems with Multimedia Interface for Audi without MMI

I have installed this interface on my Q5 without MMI:

I followed the installation guide but came across these problems:
1. enable reverse camera based on CAN option did not work. I had to wire the REAR-C to the reverse light and use LAMP to enable the camera screen
2. the reverse guidelines does not move with the steering wheel direction
3. the small transparent car on the left side (that should show the surrounding sensor distances) does not appear
4. Worst of all: I connected the camera power cable to the connector in trunk that wires the left reverse light. It worked. However, I noticed that the camera goes off after 30 seconds of operating and then does not come on again until I switch off the engine then on again!

I can imagine that the first 3 issues are related to the CAN but wonder how I can resolve it. I had connected the CAN-H to the orange/green wire and CAN-L to the orange/brown wires behind the climate control unit as described in the manual. I also tried to connect to the CAN wires behind the radio unit but did not work either.

Hi.
Select CAN in Factory mode-park-rear type. Try to set another value in Factory mode-util1-car model
There should be ~2-4V potential on CAN wires of the car

I will check the power in the CAN wires and get back to you.
Another thing that I came across: I wanted to feed my camera with power from the interface itself. However, R-CAM POWER cable showed no power at all even when on reverse gear. What could be wrong here?

On this socket ~+12V should appear on some pin when the interface identifies that the car is reversing. Check all pins in REAR socket.
