Can the NAV HDMI input be used for a 2nd APCAST

hello, I am looking to order a IW04A unit from car solutions

i also was going to order the APCAST to connect my phone to the unit via the HDMI input


my question is:

can the NAV HDMI input be used as a second HDMI input?

in my case for a second APCAST unit?

or maybe a UMPC?

is there a specific hdmi resolution that only works with the NAV HDMI input?

i am speaking with another person who owns a IW04a here in the usa, he says it WILL NOT WORK as a 2nd HDMI input

and the manufacturer iworks say that NAV HDMI input is not really a hdmi input, that it is only for use in korea and for specific sat nav boxes.


i am not sure if i can hook up 2 APcast units to the same IW04a

can you please confirm before i order?

Sorry, my bad. We clarified this issue with the manufacturer, and he said the following:

NAV HDMI input is not a HDMI . its for HDMI LVDS.
you can't use other HDMI device to NAV HDMI input.

i will seek out an external 2x1 remote controllable HDMI switch, to select between my phone (apcast) and second hdmi device
