Will this work with a Jaguar X type?

We don't know how OEM infrared touch screen will behave.

I will cut the R,G,B,S wires at the back of the DVD satnav

Also cut GND

Can you or someone help me to fitt in my jaguar x type the original "touchscreen".... I have the normal basic digital
clima controll system whit cd and phone. It works well....but I gat a head ( like a monitor )
So I know I must change the wire cable from the boot..but I dont know is it true..or I can just change the connectors?

I just want to use the radio and the clima controll.... I do't need DVD and NAV system....

Can someone help me how can I change it?

So I have a Jaguar X type whit a basic normal CD player and digital climacontroll.
I want to change it whit the CD + "touchscreen".
CAn I only cange the connection and finde the cables... and do it myself? Is it possieble to see the colors by the old wire cable...and bulid up the new connector, or this is not posieble to make it?
