BMW F30 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Smart View

I installed the adapter and the wifi interface, it connects and works fine when I am in my driveway sitting still. When I drive a few minutes later it will disconnect, then I have to try and reconnect. Is there a setting on my phone I need to change or on the car? I think it may be associated with the wifi signal somehow finding a better signal. It is NOT safe mode, I understand how that works. Thanks for the help in advance

Please try rebooting your phone and try another phone for testing if reboot doesn't help.
